2006-2007 KMOX/Southeast Missouri State University Student of Achievement Program


Attention Metro-area High School principals and counselors!  Submit your nomination by September 29th for the 14th Annual "KMOX/Southeast Missouri State University Student of Achievement" program.

For 14 years, KMOX Radio has selected and recognized thirty St. Louis metropolitan area high school students each year from hundreds of nominations.  KMOX created this program in an effort to address an age group that is often the focus of negative attention.

The KMOX /Southeast Missouri State University Student of Achievement program recognizes 30 students in the St. Louis metropolitan area who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, the arts, community service and leadership.

Eligibility Criteria
To be nominated for this award, a student must satisfy the following criteria and be nominated by their high school principal or counselor:
- Reside in the St. Louis metro area (including St. Louis City and County, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Jefferson County and Metro Illinois)
- Entering their junior year of high school
- Have earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.50 at the end of the sophomore year
- Demonstrated outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, the arts, community service and leadership

Each high school in the St. Louis metropolitan area is invited to submit one application, with a letter of recommendation, for consideration to:
